Blackened Cajun Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp Merman’s Revenge® Cajun Hot Sauce (adjust to your spice preference)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp Merman’s Revenge® Blackened Seasoning

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 lb lump crab meat (drained if necessary)

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

  • Crackers, toasted baguette slices, or veggies for serving

Preparation Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.

  • Stir in the lemon juice, Cajun Hot Sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and blackening seasoning

  • Gently fold in the lump crab meat, half of the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and green onions.

  • Spread the mixture evenly into an oven-safe dish or small baking dish.

  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

  • Serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or veggies.
