Preparation Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
2. Season the Chicken:
Rub the MR Lemon Pepper Seasoning evenly onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
3. Cook the Chicken:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet.
Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the chicken, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
4. Add Lemon Juice:
Once the chicken is almost done, squeeze the juice of one lemon over the chicken. Let it simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes to let the chicken absorb the lemony flavor.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices.
Serve warm alongside your favorite sides like roasted vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Tips:
For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken in lemon juice, olive oil, and pepper for 30 minutes before seasoning and cooking.
This dish pairs well with steamed or roasted veggies and a side of rice or quinoa.
