Ingredients:
1 cup rice (white or brown)
4 salmon fillets
Merman’s Revenge Salmon Seasoning (to taste)
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
Directions:
1. Prepare the rice.
Cook the rice according to package instructions. Fluff and set aside.
2. Sear and glaze the salmon.
Pat the salmon fillets dry and season to taste with Merman’s Revenge Salmon Seasoning.
In a pan, melt 2 tbsp of butter with a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if they have skin). Cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
Brush the salmon with Merman’s Revenge Teriyaki Glaze.
3. Cook the vegetables.
Combine the frozen mixed vegetables and 3 oz of water in a pot.
Steam until warmed through, stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes.
Season lightly with salt, pepper, and a pinch of your chosen herbs or spices (like Merman’s Revenge Salmon Seasoning!). Stir the seasonings in.
Add 1 tbsp of butter for more flavor. Stir and let cook for another 3 minutes.
4. Assemble the bowl.
Divide the cooked rice into bowls. Top with vegetables and halved glazed salmon fillets.
Drizzle on more Merman’s Revenge Teriyaki Glaze to taste.
5. Enjoy!
Tips:
Sprinkle fresh herbs, sesame seeds, or a squeeze of lemon over the dish for added flair.
