Lemon Pepper Shrimp Scampi Dip
Shrimp scampi fans rejoice! There is now a new way to enjoy your favorite meal. That’s right: you can turn your shrimp scampi into a dip and forego the pasta completely.
Don’t get us wrong… We love pasta. But we also love bread! Here’s how you can make your own Lemon Pepper Shrimp Scampi Dip with Merman’s Revenge Lemon Pepper Seasoning.
Ingredients:
Butter
Oil
Garlic
Salt
Pepper
Shallots
French baguette
Chicken broth or white wine
Bread crumbs
Parsley
Directions:
1. Prep your ingredients.
Remove the tails on your shrimp (if they have them), mince them, then soak them in salt water.
Mince your shallots.
Grate your cheese.
2. Make your sauce.
Add in your butter (melted), olive oil, shallots, garlic, Merman’s Revenge Lemon Pepper Seasoning, and chicken broth (or white wine).
Mix gently.
3. Layer, layer, layer!
Put down a layer of the sauce you just made.
For the next layer, add in the shrimp, cheese, panko, salt and pepper to taste, and parsley.
Put down one more layer of sauce on top.
4. Bake your dip.
Set your oven to 375 °F (about 191 °C).
Bake for 12 minutes.
5. Prepare the bread for dipping.
Slice your baguette.
Toast the slices for a nice crunch.
6. Enjoy!
Bonus Tips:
Add a squeeze of lemon and more parsley for a finishing touch!
