Cajun-Style Seafood Bake Skewers
Seafood bake, shrimp boil—you know it and love it. But what if you threw that bad boy on a skewer? What then?
Wonder no more, because we did it for you. Check out this super simple recipe that will turn any seafood boil lover into a seafood skewer fan.
Ingredients:
1 stick of salted butter
Corn
Potatoes
Pearl onions
Andouille sausage
Shrimp (thawed)
Skewers
Salt
Directions:
1. Prep your ingredients.
Give your thawed shrimp a cold ice bath with a pinch of salt. Peel your shrimp and set them aside.
Cut your potatoes into halves and give them a quick boil so they’re soft after baking. (If you skip boiling them beforehand, you might find they’re a bit hard!)
2. Make your sauce.
Melt down a whole stick of salted butter then add as much Merman’s Revenge Cajun Style Seasoning as you like for taste.
Stir it up!
3. Build your skewers!
Start skewering your corn, potatoes, pearl onions, sausage and shrimp.
You can order the pieces however you like. We did corn, 1 to 2 pearl onions, potato, 1 to 2 pearl onions, sausage, 1 to 2 pearl onions, shrimp. It’ll likely depend a bit on the length of your skewers!
4. Prepare them to bake.
Lay the skewers down on a lined tray.
Preheat your oven to 400 °F (about 205 °C).
5. Season then bake the skewers.
Pour the Cajun butter mixture all over the skewers.
Put them in the oven and let them bake for 10 minutes. You’ll know they’re done when the shrimp is pink and opaque.
6. Enjoy!
Bonus Tips:
Drizzle on more of the Cajun butter mix once they’re done baking for even more flavor!
